CREATIVITY WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN STARTING SOMETHING NEW
Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 noon. Four session meetings: Aug. 24, 31, Sep. 7, 14.
Only 6 students per session. Cost: 30 euro per session x4. All materials included.
· Session One: Addressing Fears. Drawing, writing, music, gentle movement.
· Session Two: Modifying Expectations. Painting. Improv., writing, music.
· Session Three: Creating a Vision. Collage, writing, music, gentle movement.
· Session Four: Restructuring Routines. Drawing, writing, improv, music.

We meet Tuesdays at 10 am at Cafecito, located at Van Baerlestraat 83 1071AS Amsterdam. From Cafecito, we walk across the street to Lorena's studio. There are Stairs!

• No experience is needed

• All feelings are allowed
• Meetings at 10-12 noon

THE EXPRESSIVE ARTS METHOD THAT LORENA USES CAN OFFER YOU HEALING AND DEVELOPMENT THROUGH YOUR ARTISTIC SELF-EXPRESSION. THERE IS NO WRONG WAY OF DOING THINGS HERE.
THE METHOD INCLUDES SEVERAL EXPRESSIVE ACTIVITIES IN EACH CLASS, SUCH AS POETRY, WRITING, PAINTING, COLLAGE, MUSIC, MOVEMENT, DRAWING, CLAY WORK, RITUAL, AND IMPROV.
THE CLASSES ALWAYS INCLUDE MUTUAL SUPPORT, RESPECT, EMPATHY, AND PRIVACY.

The teacher: Lorena Fernandez, Ph.D. has a doctorate in Expressive Arts Therapy from EGS, the European Graduate School in Switzerland, a Masters of Arts from California State University with a final thesis on the sociological content in the art of Frida Kahlo. She is a former Industrial Systems Engineer, but after the birth of her children, she has transitioned into the arts.
